Maintaining Assets

The Content Creation System (CCS) is divided into the sections below.

  • Slide Explorer. For more information, see the Creating and Organizing Slides topic.
  • Slide Editor. For more information, see the Building Slides topic.
  • Asset Panel, described in this section.

An asset is the digital material used in a course, such as a text, image, audio, video, or multimedia file that you create in the CCS or outside the CCS. You can then load it into the CCS. Assets can enhance the quality of your presentations and serve as an efficient training tool for your learners. Typical examples of assets are listed below.

  • A .jpg image file
  • A .mp3 audio file
  • A .swf (Flash) file

By default, the Asset Panel contains a horizontal scroll bar that can be used to view all the assets associated with the presentation. You can adjust the height of the Asset Panel by using the handle between the Asset Panel and the Slide Editor. Depending on the direction in which you move this handle, you can either expand or collapse the height of the Asset Panel.
