About the Assignment Management Screen

From this screen, you can assign training as well as tasks, such as follow up on an incident or complete an investigation, to your employees. The Assignment Management screen allows you to keep track of all the assignments you make in PureSafety and manage training assignments as well as additional tasks assigned to employees from a single place. You can access it by clicking the Assignments tab.

PureSafety tab > Assignments

This screen includes the two tabs described below.

  • Assignments tab. You can review assignments, search for assignments, and make changes to existing assignments. Users with appropriate permissions can view, create, delete, and make changes to training assignments from this screen. You can assign training as well as tasks, such as follow up on an incident or complete an investigation, to your employees. Tasks are grouped on a separate page, so you can easily differentiate between assignments that require employees to complete training and assignments that require them to perform other tasks. The two assignment pages are listed below.
    • With Training. This page displays all training-related assignments. Users with the appropriate permissions can view, create, delete, and make changes to training assignments from this screen.
    • With Tasks. This page displays all assignments that require employees to perform specific tasks, such as follow up on a potential issue or investigate a near miss. You can filter the list of tasks based on the task type using the Filter by Type section on the right side of the screen. You can only view tasks from this screen. You cannot create, edit, or delete tasks from this screen. Go to the IMS tab to make changes to tasks.
