Hide Training

There may be time when you want hide certain training units or sets in the Training Library.

Below are a few examples of when you may want to hide certain training units.

  • You need to upload a new version of your company's policies and procedures. In this case, you can hide the old version of the training in order to keep your library clean.
  • You are creating a new course. In this case, you can hide the in-progress course in order to keep users from viewing it before it is complete.

You may also want to hide all the training units that are part of a training set. A few examples are listed below.

  • You need to upload a new OSHA training set to replace an old one. In this case, you can hide the existing training set by checking the Hidden box on the Training Properties screen. You can also hide the associated training units by checking the Hide All Associated Training Units box.
  • Depending on your needs, you can create the combinations below.
    • Show the training set, show all associated training units. This is the default combination.
    • Show the training set, hide all associated training units
    • Hide the training set, hide all associated training units
    • Hide the training set, show all associated training units

When you hide training, only users with the Hide or Show Training permission can see it. Those users must have chosen to view hidden training as well.

Also, if you hide a training unit as part of one training set, that training unit will be hidden in any other training sets where it exists.
