Allow Users to Access the CCS

You can use PureSafety to configure users' access in the CCS. You can restrict users' access in the CCS using security roles you specify in their employee records.

Below are the steps you must complete in order to configure users' access in the CCS.

  1. First, you must create a security role that includes the appropriate permissions. You can create multiple CCS security roles as needed. For more information about these steps, see the Create Custom Security Roles topic.
  2. Next, you must create user records for all your CCS users. For more information, see Create Employees and Create Users from Employees.
  3. Finally, you must assign them the appropriate CCS security role you created. For more information, see the Assign a Security Role to an Employee topic.

The CCS includes six permissions. You can give users a selection of permissions. For example, you can allow users to copy and create presentations, but you can restrict them from deleting permissions. The permissions that control access in the CCS are listed below.

  • Copy Presentation. Allows the user to copy presentations.
  • Create Presentation. Allows the user to create presentations.
  • Delete Presentation. Allows the user to delete presentations.
  • Edit Presentation. Allows the user to edit presentations.
  • Import Presentation Training Unit. Allows the user to import PS4 from their computer if they also have the Create Presentation permission.

Once users have access to create presentations in the CCS, they see the presentation training option on the Create Training section of the Training Library.
