Manage All Groups Security Role

The Manage All Groups security role allows control over all the groups in the hierarchy. Assign this role to any new organization unit administrators who should also manage groups. This role includes the group administrator permissions plus those listed on this page.

  • Manage All Groups. Allows the user to control all groups and organization units in the Organization Directory.
Note: The Manage All Groups security role should always be assigned in conjunction with the Organization Unit Administrator role. Do not assign the Manage All Groups role to a user without also assigning the Organization Unit Administrator role.
