IMS Injury Administrator

The IMS Injury Administrator role includes permissions specifically for managing the injury log and injury-related details.

Note: This functionality is available only to customers who have licensed the Incident Management System (IMS) module in PureSafety.
The IMS Injury Administrator security role includes the following permissions by default:
  • Can Create Injury Log. Allows the user to add a new injury log. Note: Users with the Manage Injury Log can create injury logs even if they do not have the Can Create Injury Log permission.
  • Can Delete Injury Log. Allows the user to delete an injury log record. Note: Users who have the Manage Injury Log permission can delete injury logs even if they do not have the Can Delete Injury Log permission.
  • Can Edit Injury Log. Allows the user to edit an injury log record. Note: Users who have the Manage Injury Log permission can edit injury logs even if they do not have the Can Edit Injury Log permission.
  • Can Edit Privacy Case Property for an Injury. Allows the user to remove the privacy case designation for injuries that are marked privacy case. The following permission is required for this permission: Can View Identifiable Information for Privacy Case Injuries.
    Note: Users must also have the security permission, Can View Identifiable Information for Privacy Case Injuries. Otherwise, they will be unable to see privacy case information and will be unable to edit the Privacy Case check box. Editing requires that the user be able to see the identifiable information.
  • Can View IMS Directory. Allows the user access to the IMS functionality and the IMS tab in the top navigation bar.
  • Can View Incident Injury Summary. Allows users to see the tab, Initial Injury Report, on incident records. This tab includes the original injury report that the employee submitted.
  • Can View Injury Log Listing. Allows the user access to the Injury Log field on the Injuries screen.
  • Can View Identifiable Information for Privacy Case Injures. IMS Injury Admin - Allows users to view employee name and other identifiable information (job title, gender, birth date, hire date, and addres) in all the places where injury data is displayed, including reports.
    Note: This permission allows users to view the privacy information only. To edit the Privacy Case check box, users must have the security permission, Can Edit Privacy Case Property for an Injury.
  • Manage Injuries. Allows the user to create and edit injuries either on the Injuries screen or on the Losses screen in an event. This also allows the user to open an injury record from an incident record using the Open Related Injury Form link in the Actions menu.
  • View Control Center Injury Listing. Allows the user to view the Injuries screen.
  • View IMS Injury-Related Reports. Allows the user to run reports about injury information, including the Employees on LWD, Incidence Rates, Injuries Accruing Lost or Restricted Work Days, Injury Listing, and Injury Trends reports.
  • View OSHA Injury Reports. Allows the user to view the OSHA 300, OSHA 300A, and OSHA 301 reports.
