Introduction Tab

You can use this tab to enter some introductory text that appears before the slide starts. For example, you could add the following introduction to a learning activity: "Let's try a learning activity to see what you know" or "Let's see what you remember."

The table below describes the options available on this tab.
Option Description
Introduction Text Section

Type the text that will introduce the learning activity slide. The text entered in this section displays on the slide before the learning activity.

  • Font. All text displays in Arial, by default. Use the font drop-down list to select a different font for the text.
  • Font Size. All text displays in 14 point size, by default. Use the size drop-down list to select a different font size.
  • Font Style. All text displays as normal text, by default. You can change the text to bold (B) or italic (I), or you can underline the text (U).
  • Color. All text is black, by default. You can click the Color button to change the text color. You can also create a custom color for the text in addition to the preset colors. Click OK after selecting a color.
  • Alignment. The text is left aligned, by default. You can center the text, make it right aligned, or make it justified.
  • Bullet. Click the Bullet button if you want the test to display as a bullet. Click the Remove Bullet button if you want to remove the bullet.
  • Hyperlink. Highlight the desired text and click the Hyperlink button if you want to add a hyperlink to the text. Type the complete URL (Web address) or select an asset to associate with the text on the Insert Hyperlink window.

This options allows you include a sound with the introductory text.
