Insert Images in Slides

You must upload the images into the Asset Panel before you can insert them into a slide.Once the images are successfully uploaded, you can use the instructions in this task to insert the images into a slide.

  1. Access the CCS.
  2. Using the Slide Editor, open the slide you want to insert an image into (for instructions, see the View Slides topic).
  3. In the Slide Editor, click the Slide Script tab.

    The Slide Script displays for the selected slide.

  4. Click the Image button in the Slide Script toolbar.
    A blank Image entry is added to the selected slide.


  5. Resize the Asset Panel by using the handle between the Asset Panel and the Slide Editor. Expand the Asset Panel until the first row of assets is visible.
  6. Locate the image file you want to insert into the slide. Use the horizontal scroll bar to locate the image file as needed.
  7. Select the appropriate image file in the Asset Panel and drag and drop it in the new Image section of the slide. The image file name displays in parentheses in the Image header. To preview the image as it will appear in the presentation, refer to the Preview A Slide topic. By default, when the image is displayed in the presentation, it is sized to fit the height of the image section on the slide and the Scale image to fit container check box is selected. If you want to display the image using its original resolution, clear the Scale image to fit container check box.
  8. Type comments about the image in the Notes field. The text entered in this field is visible only to people who are editing the slide. This text is not visible to trainees when they are viewing the presentation.
  9. If you want to add a hyperlink to the image, click the Hyperlink button on the formatting toolbar. On the Insert Hyperlink window, type the complete URL (Web address) or select an asset to associate with the image.
