Define Advanced Feedback

After defining answer feedback for correct and incorrect answers (using the Show Answer Feedback check box), you can follow the steps in this topic to add a sound to the answer feedback.

  1. Access the CCS.
  2. Open the click-the-image slide that contains the answer feedback you want to add sounds to (for instructions, see the View Slides topic).
  3. Click the question that contains the answers you want to define a feedback sound for and click the Advanced Feedback button. The Advanced Feedback window displays for the selected question. This window contains the answer feedback for the selected question.
    • Correct answer feedback corresponds with the image that contains a green check mark in the lower right corner.
    • Incorrect answer feedback corresponds with the image that contains a red X in the lower right corner.

  4. To add a sound to the correct answer feedback, click the Select New button under the correct answer feedback text. The Sound window displays.
    • Select the audio file and click OK if it displays in the Voice Over window.
    • Click Upload New and browse to select the file if the audio file you want to use is not listed in the Voice Over window. When the uploaded file displays in Voice Over window, select it and click OK.

    The Sound section of the Selected Item Properties toolbar is updated to display a new sound icon and the audio file name.

  5. To add a sound to the incorrect answer feedback, click the Select New button under the incorrect answer feedback text. The Sound window displays.
    • Select the audio file and click OK if it displays in the Voice Over window.
    • Click Upload New and browse to select the file if the audio file you want to use is not listed in the Voice Over window. When the uploaded file displays in Voice Over window, select it and click OK.

    The Sound section of the Selected Item Properties toolbar is updated to display a new sound icon and the audio file name.

The selected audio files are saved and will be played when trainees click images on the slide.
