Reactivate an Inactive Employee

Use the steps below to make employees inactive and then reactive them at a later time. For example, you may want inactivate an employee on medical leave.

  1. Go to the PureSafety tab > People.
  2. Open the employee's record.
  3. In the Website Account section, select the Active check box.
  4. Click Save.
Note: If the employee is a member of an organization unit or group and certain assignments were made to this unit or group while the employee was inactive, you can choose to assign all the active, applicable assignments currently assigned to their organization units and groups to this trainee. Applicable assignments are those in which the Assign to New Entrants box has been checked. In this case, you see the message below after activating the trainee.

Assigning training to newly activated employee

  • Click Yes to assign applicable assignments to this trainee.
  • Click No if you don’t want the trainee to get these assignments.
