Workflow 2 - Puresafety Users

Employees who are PureSafety users can record that they have completed the assigned task. They can then request their supervisor approve it.

  1. The Employees complete the task. Then, they request that their manager approve that the task was completed.
    1. Go to the My Schedule section and double-click the task assignment.
    2. Click the Verify Task button.
    3. Type comments about the task as needed.
    4. Click Verify the Completion of this Task.
  2. Managers receive the requests. Then, they verify that their employee has completed the task correctly.
    1. Go to home page > Messages section.
    2. Double-click on a message to open it.
    3. Go to the Actions menu and click the Approve or Decline link.
    4. On the Approve/Decline window, type notes about the trainee or the assignment by going to the General tab and typing comments in the Comment section.
    5. To approve or deny this request, choose the appropriate option in the Status field and check the box for all the assignments this decision applies to.
    6. The Complete Date column displays the current date by default. Type another date if the trainee completed the assignment on a different date.
    7. In the Time Spent column, enter the amount of time the trainee spent on this assignment. Populate this field only if you are recording that the training is complete.
    8. Click Submit. The system changes the assignment status to Complete if you approve it. The assignment continues to display a status of In Progress if you deny the request.
