Create an Injury Record from a Supervisor Report on the News Feed

You can create an injury record from a Supervisor Report that lists Injury/Illness as a classification of the event or incident. Otherwise, the option to Create Injury is not available. You must also specify an employee when selecting the Injury/Illness classification.


Create injury record

Note: Brackets (< >) are not supported in text fields.
  1. Go to the PureSafety tab > IMS > News Feed.
  2. Click the Supervisor Report you would like to create an injury record from on the News Feed.
  3. Click Actions in the top corner of the View Supervisor Report screen.
  4. Click Create Injury and complete the Injury information.
  5. Click Save.
Note: Injury records and event records created from the same Supervisor Report are automatically linked. If the Supervisor report is later linked to another event, the injury record will remain linked to the original event. When an event is deleted, the linked injury record will become an unassociated injury.
