Copy an Existing Security Role

You can copy an existing role, give the role a new name, and add or remove permissions as needed instead of having to create a new role.

Note: Only users with the Copy Security Role permission can copy security roles.
  1. Go to the PureSafety tab > People .
  2. Expand the security roles folder and select the security role you want to copy.
  3. Double-click the security role.
  4. Click Copy Role.
    The system creates a new security role and closes the Edit Role window. The new role is called Copy of <Initial Security Role> by default.
  5. Select the new role in the list of security roles and click Edit.
  6. On the Edit Role window, updated the title, add or remove permissions as needed by checking or unchecking the appropriate boxes.
  7. Click Save.
