Link Incident Reports to Other Records

You can link incident reports to events and to other incident reports.

Link incident report to an event (new or existing)

  1. Go to the PureSafety tab > IMS > News Feed.
  2. Select an incident report.
  3. Click Link.
  4. Click To New Event or To Existing Event.
Note: If you assign a task to an incident report on the News Feed and then link that incident report to an event, the task does not display on the event's Actions and Investigations tab or the Corrective Actions tab. You can manage the task on the Task Listing screen or by going to the event record > Summary > Forms > open incident report > Tasks tab.

Link incident report to another incident report

  1. Go to the PureSafety tab > IMS > News Feed.
  2. Select the incident reports you want to link. You can also select multiple incidents by pressing the CTRL key on your keyboard and clicking each incident.
  3. Click Link.
  4. Click Together.
