- with a Create Injury Record or Assign Training task type
- that are associated with an event or submission.
Expiration of a Task
Edit a Recurring Task
You can modify a recurring task by selecting the task and clicking Edit. You can change the number of recurrences and modify the time to complete. Only current (in a Not Started or In Progess state) and future occurrences are changed.
Once a task is in progress, you can not edit the check box, Mark Not Completed on Next Occurrence.
The start date can be edited until the second task occurrence generates. If you need a new start date for the task, we suggest you create a new task and delete the existing one.
Employees can be added or removed from current occurrences only if they are in a Not Started / In Progress state. The due date and number of recurrence cannot be set to less than one.- You create a recurring task that starts on the first day of each quarter and assign it to Employee A.
- Employee A completes the first occurrence in January, but he leaves the company in March.
- The next task in the series does not get assigned until April 1.
- After April 1, you can change the assignee on the task to Employee B who has taken over Employee A's responsibilities.
- From that point on, the system assigns Employee B all the future task occurrences.
If you need to edit the assignee before the next occurrence starts, we suggest you create a new task and end the existing one by changing the number of scheduled recurrences.
When the Mark Not Completed on Next Occurrence box is not checked, tasks expire when the next occurrence is assigned.
