Mark Training Complete Without Request

  1. Go to the PureSafety tab > Assignments > open an assignment.
  2. Click Excuse/Mark Complete in the Actions menu.
  3. In the Options section, select the Mark Complete or Mark Complete - Completed Outside option.

    The Mark Complete - Completed Outside is available only for assignments that contain OSHA courses.

    Note: If you select this option for trainees, they will not receive an OSHA card from UL WHS.
  4. Select a date in the Default Complete Date and type time spent in the the Time Spent column. These values are applied automatically to all trainees selected in the People section. Change these values for individual trainees, as needed.
    Note: The system applies values in the Time Spent field to each training unit of a Lesson. Before typing a time spent value, verify the number of training units in the assignment to be sure the value entered is applicable to each unit. For example, A Time Spent value of 45 minutes applied to a Lesson containing two training units will apply 45 minutes to each training unit.
  5. Type an explanation for why you are marking this training complete in the Comment field.
    This is an optional step.
  6. If you want to send email notifications to trainees that informs them that you have excused or marked them complete, select the Send Notification check box.
  7. In the Training section, check the boxes for the training units you need to mark complete. For recurring assignments and series, you can choose to complete a trainee either for the current occurrence or for all future occurrences.

    Selecting a lesson, course, or curriculum marks all pieces of the training that are In Progress or Not Started complete. Completed training pieces remain in a completed state.

    Selecting a piece of a training marks only that piece of training completed.

  8. In the People section, click Add Add Button.
  9. Search for the trainee who completed the assignment. Select the check box next to the trainee's name.

    You can select multiple trainees.

  10. Click OK.
  11. Click Submit.

    If the assignment is recurring, continue to step 12. The Submit button is not available.

Mark Complete for recurring assignments and series

  1. Click Get Occurrences.

    A list of each training occurrence is listed for each trainee. This option is available only for recurring assignments and series.

    Note: An error message appears if more than 500 records are returned. Use the Choose Filters button to return to the Excuse/Mark Complete screen and refine filters.
  2. Select the training occurrence(s).
  3. Edit Complete Date and Time Spent, as needed.
  4. Click Submit.

    An error message appears if more than 500 records meet the filter criter Use the Choose Filters button to return to the Excuse/Mark Complete screen and refine filters.
