Training options setup

You can configure options related to training including notifications and availability of training outside the defined training period. The options are described in the table below.

Task Notes

Allow employees to take upcoming training that begins a set number of days in the future.

PureSafety Customer Support can enable a client setting that allows your trainees to start future training before the assignment's start date.

Determine how long optional training without an end date is available to trainees so that it does not remain open indefinitely.

PureSafety allows you to automatically withdraw any assignments that are optional and do not have a due date after a certain period of time so that they don't clutter your trainees' assignment list. By default, these assignments are withdrawn 90 days after their start date.

Send automatic email notifications about future training only a certain number of days before the assignment starts.

PureSafety Customer Support can change the setting for notifications of future training so that email messages are sent only for training that begins within a set number of days.

Send automatic notifications about overdue assignments.

PureSafety Customer Support can enable a client setting that allows you to send automatic notifications to your trainees a few days before their assignments become overdue.

Allow training administrators to edit assignment start and end dates.

By default, training administrators are allowed to edit assignment start and end dates.

PureSafety Customer Support can disable this setting, if needed.
