Getting Started

This section outlines the basic steps you must go through as you learn about the Content Creation System (CCS) and start using it.

First, you must allow trainers access to the CCS. This allows them to create presentations or customize library courses as needed. See the Allow Users to Access the CCS topic for more information.

Once they have appropriate access, users will be able to make copies of library courses and edit them as necessary. They can also create new presentations from scratch. The Creating and Organizing Slides and Building Slides sections describe these steps.

Note: You cannot make changes to a standard library course. If you need to edit it (for example, to add your company's logo), you must first copy the course and customize the copied version.

Below are some changes you might want to make to customize library courses. You would make these changes in the copy you create of a standard library course.

  • Add an introduction.
  • Replace images.
  • Replace sounds.
  • Add new slides.
